Derry City FC 5K Race & Fun Run – Join Us!

Derry City Football Club is delighted to invite you to our first ever 5K Race & Fun Run, taking place on Tuesday 7 July with a 7:15pm start.

This event is open to everyone—whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active!

Route Details:

The race will begin at on the Quay (Next to Puregym), heading up and across the lower deck of Craigavon Bridge, past the Train Station, and out along the Greenway. Runners will then cross the Peace Bridge before finishing back on the Quay where they started.

Entry Fee: £12

Prizes:

• 1st Place: £100
• 2nd Place: £60
• 3rd Place: £40
  
  (Prizes awarded in both male and female categories)

While there are prizes up for grabs, the main focus of the evening will be fun, fitness, and community spirit.

Special Bonus:

Several senior players from both the men’s and women’s teams will be in attendance—perfect for photos, autographs, and meeting the squad ahead of the men’s European campaign kicking off that Thursday night!
